This issue may occur when the submission platform is opened in more than one tab or window: if you validate your submission in one tab/window while another remains open and empty, the platform may overwrite the validated version with the empty/incomplete one.
To avoid this issue:
Use the submission platform in a single tab and on a single device.
If you plan to switch devices or browsers, save your work and close the platform completely before reopening it elsewhere.
- Ideally, assign only one person to work on the abstract. This helps ensure the two previous recommendations are followed and prevents conflicts or data loss.
